EX-200
16 Line Exchange
- Consists of exchange cabinet, central control unit and two LM-20 line modem units.
- EX-200 is comprised of:
- CPU which processes exchange procedures.
- Two links (speech paths).
- Tone generating circuit.
- Power circuit.
- Circuits for connecting stations to speech paths.
- Circuit to transmit signals from links
(speech paths) to stations.
- Receiver and scanning circuit for dial data.
- Terminal Block.
- One or two additional four-station LM-20 units can be mounted in the EX-200.
- Holds option units (RC-20, SM-20, TI-20A).
FC-210
Expansion Cabinet
- Required when using the EX-200 with more than 16 stations.
- Use of multiple option units.
- One FC-210 holds four LM-20 line modem units and six SM-20 option units.
- A YR-820 is required for adding an LM-20 unit.
- A YR-821 is required for adding option units.
PU-200
Power Transformer Unit
- Supplies power to EX-200 exchange and FC-210 expansion cabinet.
- Provides two 20 VAC/2.5 A outputs.
LM-20
Line Modem Unit
- Comprised of:
- Circuits for connecting stations to the links (speech path).
- Receivers and scanning circuits for dial data.
- Terminal blocks.
- Station wires connect directly to terminal blocks on the LM unit.
- Up to four stations can be connected per LM unit.
- Up to four LM units can be mounted in either the EX-200 or FC-210 cabinets.
BI-20
BGM Unit
- Sends BGM and alarm/time signals to a line modem.
- Contains the circuit to input alarm and time signals.
- Installs in the EX-200Ős BI unit exclusive slot.
SM-20
Speech Message Option Unit
- Provides digital/analog audio conversions.
- Memory to store digitized audio signals.
- One SM-20 has memory and control circuits for four stations.
- The EX-200, FC-210 and combined EX-200/FC-210 accept a maximum of five, six and eight speech message units respectively.
- Installs in any available EX-200, FC-210 option slot.
RC-20
Remote Control Option Unit
- Consists of paging, door remote, power remote, and PTT control relays and their circuits and terminal blocks.
- Installs in any available EX-200 option slot.
TI-20A
Tie-line Option Unit
- Used to interconnect multiple EXES systems.
- Converts the dial and voice signals of specific station lines to voice-bandwidth signals.
- Each of two tie-lines utilize two dry, twisted-pair wires for a connection to a remote exchange.
- One unit will provide two links (speech paths) to one link remote exchange, or one (speech path) to each of two remote exchanges.
- Installs in any available EX-200 option slot.
YR-820/YR-821
Connecting Cables
- Connects the FC-210 expansion cabinet to the EX-200 16-line exchange.
- YR-820 for use with LM-20 line modem units.
- YR-821 intended for use with SM-20 option units
