CP-66
Central Processing Unit
- Executes operating instructions stored in internal memory.
- Controls intercom system traffic according to dial data received from stations.
OC-62
Output Control Unit
- Temporarily stores output data from the CPU and distributes it to each unit.
HC-62/HC-64
Highway Control Units
- Turn on and off the time sharing switches of the LM, DL, CL, PI, TI, SI and SG units.
- Receive instructions from the CPU.
- Front panel switches and LEDs allow monitoring of active system links.
- HC-62 used for EX-610 and EX-620 systems.
- HC-64 used for EX-630 systems.
CL-62A/DC-62A
Link Units
- Operates under the control of the HC-62 or HC-64 Highway Control Unit.
- Connects or disconnects individual links (speech paths) for conferences among four stations (CL-62A only) and conversation between two stations.
- Switches conversations from hands-free to full duplex when station handset is lifted.
- Equipped with one conference link and two duplex links (CL-62A), or four duplex links (DL-62A).
SG-62
Signal Generating and Distributing Unit
- Generates and distributes the following system tones:
- Calling
- Privacy/disconnected
- Busy
- Dialing
- Zone paging
- All call
- Priority/executive priority
- Registration confirmation/ call holding/mic off
- Distributes tone signals to system under control of the HC-62 or HC-64 Highway Control Unit.
PI-62
Paging Interface Unit
- One PI-62 provides seven zones of paging plus all-call paging.
- Each additional unit provides eight more paging zones.
- Eight relays may be activated during paging or while depressing a station's push-to-talk key.
- Transformer-isolated PA paging outputs.
- System configuration determines the number of zones available.
TI-62
Tie Line Interface Unit
- One TI-62 provides eight tie-lines.
- Two twisted-pair wire connection for each tie-line.
- Transmits and receives audio signals and dial data between adjacent CP-66 equipped exchanges.
SA-64
EX-630 Station Assignment Unit
- Used in EX-630 systems to distribute the station paging outputs of the PI units to each LM unit.
LM-62C
Line Modem Unit
- Contains one dedicated circuit for each of the eight two-wire stations it supports.
- All station circuits have access to all available system links (speech paths).
- Eight front panel LEDs monitor station-line loop current.
LM-65C
Enhanced Line Modem Unit
- Contains all functions of the LM-62C with enhanced features:
- Audio and control inputs for alarm and timer signals.
- Eight BGM audio inputs.
- Allows connected stations to receive BGM, alarm and timer signals.
SI-62
Speech Interface Unit
- Connects to the SM-600 speech message unit to send or receive a voice signal.
